"In conclusion, for any photographer who uses shoe mount flashes on a regular basis, whether on camera or off, we can more than just recommend ExpoImaging’s Rogue Flashbenders, given they’re just so darn useful in a variety of different solutions… we’re awarding them our highest honor as “Essential” gear. We can’t think of a smarter or more effective way for strobists to control their lights."

"For the next setup I mixed available light with one strobe. The nice thing about this setup was that I could expriment with the Rogue flashbender which I received a few days before the workshop from Cameranu (many thanks guys), and I have to add that this is a must buy when you are using small flash, it’s awesome."

"So are the ExpoImaging Rogue Flash Benders the best flash modifiers ever? Many photographers would say so, and to be quite honest I couldn’t find a single fault with them. Bendable, pliable, shapable, versatile: the Rogue Flash Benders let you really harness the light output from your flash and give the strobist some of the best control I’ve ever seen."

"Using it in the field over the last few weeks has confirmed our opinion that the Flash Bender reflectors are a great bit of kit. We use fill in flash quite a lot when we are taking flower pictures as it helps even up the lighting and sometimes a reflector is impossible to position or not practical. In the past, we have used So Fen diffusers over our Canon flashguns or resorted to bouncing the flash output onto a reflector. I think I can say that our methodology will be changing in the future as using the Flash Benders in the field has proved very easy."

The beauty of these is that they are completely flat when not in use and EASILY fit in the outer pocket of my carryon suitcase. Sure I'll take a giant softbox any day I can get one, but in situations when I'm on the road and taking portraits or lighting other scenes with my speedlights, these are AWESOME!
